Victims of a plastic surgeon who were left scarred and in pain are to receive compensation.
Michel Maure, 59, was also jailed for four years and fined £60,000, the Mirror newspaper reports.
Maure, who left dozens of women scarred, was convicted of illegal practice, endangering life and wounding.
He was found guilty in his absence and is now awaiting extradition from Spain to France.
Maure absconded in a yacht after his trial.
He will have to pay his victims compensation on top of his fine.
In related news, also reported by the Mirror, a pensioner was offered just £100 in compensation after dental treatment abroad led to a screwdriver becoming lodged in her lung.
Mary Reilly, 69, went to Hungary for the work after private dentists in the UK quoted her twice the foreign price of £15,000.
But she needed an urgent trip to hospital after a half centimeter dental screwdriver fell down her throat.
She still needed to pay an English dentist £2,200 to complete the job to her satisfaction.
